All of my four children have attended and still attend this daycare. This was the first daycare my children went to when we moved to Dover. It’s a cozy little daycare, which I really appreciate. I love the peace of mind of dropping off my child at a clean and secure place. You can’t just stroll in through the doors, which gives me a sense of safety as a parent. Unlike other daycares my kids have been to, you don’t immediately smell dirty diapers as soon as you step inside. My children have been to other daycares where they were frequently sick with hand foot mouth disease. I can genuinely say that my kids have hardly been sick here, just a cold or two. I have known the director for years and she truly cares about the children. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the kids have a fantastic learning experience while they are there. The staff is wonderful; they take the time to get to know each child personally. I can't fault this daycare in any way. My 2-year-old has been here since birth and adores his teachers. Kids R Us feels like a second home for my son. Keep up the great work and continue to nurture our little ones' futures.
Harold Roberts (6/22/25, 8:56 PM):
The Director is quite rude and seems to lack proper business sense. If you have a child with special medical requirements, she struggles to provide a clear answer on whether or not your child can be accommodated. My issue is not her reluctance to answer questions, but rather her unprofessional manner of responding. Exercise caution if considering this daycare center! If this is how the Director addresses a parent in need, I worry about the treatment of families with children already under her care. Truly disgraceful behavior!
Albert Powell (6/20/25, 3:02 PM):
Fantastic early childhood development center, Kids-R-Us has been instrumental in my child's growth and learning over the past 2 years. I am truly thankful to Mrs. Silvia and Katie💙👍 for their dedication and care towards the children. The security measures and educational resources provided for both free play and structured learning are impressive. My daughter is looking forward to moving to room 3, and she adores her teachers.
Hannah Stewart (6/17/25, 12:48 AM):
This daycare is absolutely dreadful! My little one was only there for less than a month, and from the very beginning, it was a constant stream of issues. The lady in charge, or so she claims to be, possesses the most awful attitude I have ever encountered, especially for someone who works with kids! She really ought to take a good look at herself and consider seeking help for her anger issues. I wouldn't dream of recommending this daycare to anyone! The rest of the staff were alright, and I appreciate their efforts, but I wouldn't even consider entrusting my loved ones to this establishment. Sylvia Davis clearly lacks a genuine care for children, and it's truly disheartening that my 7-month-old had to be exposed to such negativity.
Andrea Peterson (6/12/25, 9:17 PM):
Thank you dearly, Kids R Us, for your unwavering love and support for my grandkids throughout the years. Your establishment consistently provides a sturdy base for education and development of our little ones. It truly feels like a second home for them, and they eagerly anticipate each day's visit.

I am truly grateful for the balanced, decisive, and reliable setting that you offer for both children and parents to thrive in.
Diane Jenkins (6/10/25, 4:22 PM):
We had our son enrolled in this daycare center last year when we moved to the neighborhood, and oh, how we wish we had checked the reviews beforehand. Like other reviewers have already pointed out, the administrator, Silvia, is rather unpleasant and seems to have a negative attitude towards both parents and children, which begs the question of why she's in the daycare business in the first place. She portrayed our son as a troublemaker and would scold us for typical behavior expected from a 2-year-old. We really didn't want our son to be around her, despite the rest of the staff being lovely and understanding.

When we attempted to withdraw our son, she threatened legal action against us because she misinterpreted a billing statement and wrongly accused us of not paying for our final week. Even after proving her mistake, we never received an apology from her. I would suggest looking into The Children’s Place nearby, as they welcomed us last minute and were truly wonderful. If Silvia isn't around, this daycare center could potentially receive positive reviews and recommendations, but until then, it's best to steer clear.
Megan Reed (6/9/25, 6:42 AM):
Oh, let me tell you, the owner is ever so rude to the staff, I can't even believe it! The state officials have asked them, "Does she treat you guys like that all the time?" And when there's not enough staff, oh dear, the wee ones are not safe at all! She leaves just one staff member with 10 toddlers, can you imagine the chaos?
Matthew Johnson (6/8/25, 4:19 PM):
My family 'as just moved 'ere from New Jersey. This will be our son's first time in daycare and we highly recommend Luis Valdez with 'ead start. 'E 'elped us get our son enrolled and we are so very grateful! Sylvia, the administrator, was very kind and knowledgeable, as well as the staff. It's a clean and presentable establishment and we are excited to start this journey together! Thank you again to all that made this possible! 🙏
