We've been taking our little one to B&B for around four months. Our daughter absolutely loves her teachers and has a brilliant time in class. The team does a fantastic job keeping us parents informed about our little one's activities. I'm so grateful I discovered this center and that they had a spot available when I needed it. Well, I must say that Beginnings and Beyond has truly been a blessing for my family! Our little one started there as soon as she was old enough, at 19 months, and she seems to be excelling beyond belief. I actually joined the team at the center about 3 months back, and I must say it's been a joy! Being involved in the children's daily lives and contributing to their growth and development is incredibly rewarding.
We began our journey with this childcare agency when it acquired the previous center (Building Blocks). Under the new ownership, there have been several changes, but not necessarily for the better. The facility doesn't seem to be as well-maintained as it should be, and any concerns raised to the owners are met with generic responses. It often feels like I am just a number to them when I try to address issues. This sentiment is shared by other parents whose children also attend this agency.
The food program was marketed as something exceptional, but in reality, the food provided doesn't live up to what was promised. I encountered a situation where my older child wasn't allowed to have potato chips in his lunch due to being considered "junk food" and not meeting federal meal guidelines, yet they serve a chicken dish coated in potato chip crumbs.
While there are still some wonderful staff members like Inseong, Angelica, and Renee who have been caring for my child since the Building Blocks days, the transition to Beginnings and Beyond has brought in less desirable teachers and a high turnover rate. Some parents felt compelled to change their careers in order to accommodate the significant shift in the childcare environment from what they initially signed up for. When I learned that prices were set to increase again, I decided to withdraw my children because I didn't feel that the level of attention to detail (children's relationships, behavior, cleanliness), and care matched the proposed cost.
It's disheartening that the owner doesn't know the children's names or recognize parents' faces, prompting one to question their motives for owning a childcare center. Furthermore, seeing promotions on social media encouraging positive reviews in exchange for cash prizes raises concerns about the agency's integrity.
My girl has been going to BB3 for a good few years now. We've had no problems at all, and I always feel that my kiddo is in safe hands. I can drop her off in the mornings without a worry! She loves going to the center every day!
I recently gained guardianship of my great nephew, who had a challenging start due to unfortunate circumstances in his first 3-1/2 years. After struggling at two local childcare centers and facing the possibility of having to relinquish him to the state due to my work commitments, my social worker suggested trying Beginnings and Beyond. I am filled with gratitude that I followed this advice, as the care and support provided to my nephew have been truly exceptional. In just his second week with them, I have already noticed significant social and emotional progress in him, and I consistently receive positive feedback. I wholeheartedly endorse their services!
I absolutely love the service we receive at this child care agency. Our son came from a chaotic environment and we were concerned about his development before he starts school next year, but he has flourished and gained so much knowledge in the short time he has been here. Once I return to work, we will definitely be enrolling our one-year-old here as well. The staff is fantastic and they offer a wide range of activities for the children. I cannot recommend this place enough. Plus, they have an app where they send updates and pictures of your little one. When my son was four years old, we were still struggling with potty training, but after being here for just a few months, he is now fully trained. I am grateful for the personalized attention he received, especially after our previous experience was so dreadful.
My little lad has been attending this place since he was just 15 weeks old and I must say, they have been absolutely fantastic! The teachers here are top-notch in addressing any worries we may have had, and everyone is just so lovely.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My granddaughter works there and it's just awful, the things I hear about this place all the time. The doors are broken, the staff refrigerator does not work, they are very underpaid, and the owner is only interested in money. She doesn't care about the safety of the kids. Do not send your children here; some of the staff are very rough with the kids. The management shows clear bias; this is why family should not work together in such settings.
My lad is attending Beginnings and Beyond in Felton, and he's only 8 months old. He's got a right brain malformation and has been there since he was 6 weeks old. The level of care, commitment, and connections that the staff and even other families have shown to my little one is truly remarkable. I couldn't wish for a more supportive team. I wholeheartedly endorse them for the exceptional care and devotion they provide to both families and their team.
Beginnings and beyond is a splendid spot, I must say. I have three little ones who go there, and it's truly a welcoming and impeccably tidy setting.

I've been a loyal client of this child care agency for nearly 7 years, and I wouldn't dream of taking my child anywhere else. It's truly a blessing to have discovered a place where my daughter feels secure, content, and where she is supported in her development and education. The staff are warm and encouraging, and any concerns are promptly addressed. They have been so accommodating in helping us with nap time routines and potty training.
My lad has been going to this nursery for 'bout 2-3 years now. They're ever so kind to him and always make sure he's well looked after in his class. They're top-notch with keeping us informed, so we never have to worry 'bout what's happening. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the Dover, Camden, Felton areas.
